We have over 3000 staff members on our books- but this is constantly growing. We carry out regular interviews in major UK cities to keep our database up to date and fresh. This also means that we can often provide local staff- saving you money on staff transport and accommodation.

TYPES OF EVENTS
Event stewards & marshals are required at events with a large number of expected attendees. For example, concerts, sports events, exhibitions, festivals, and fairs. Additionally, they are usually easily identifiable in high vis jackets.
LONDON STAFF
The nation’s capital hosts hundreds, if not thousands, of large-scale events that require marshals & stewards. These events take place at venues such as the O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, the London ExCel and London Olympia. We have over 3000 staff members on our books, many of which are familiar with London venues and so are readily available to marshal here.
BIRMINGHAM STEWARDS & MARSHALS
Birmingham NEC hosts a multitude of annual exhibitions which receive tens of thousands of attendees, and BP Pulse Live and Utilita Arena host concerts for world-famous musical acts. These venues in particular need marshals & stewards regularly, which Push can provide. Push was originally founded near Birmingham so we have lots of local staff readily available.
EVENT MANAGERS
Furthermore, when hiring large teams of staff an event manager (or team leader) can also be extremely helpful. They serve as a point of contact between the marshal/steward team, event organisers, and Push’s office. These members of staff are our most trusted and experienced. Event managers oversee staff and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and productive manner.

Common events that require marshals & stewards are concerts, sports events, exhibitions, festivals, and fairs. Essentially any event where there will be a large influx of people unfamiliar with the venue.
I’m sure that we’ve all been to events where we’ve had trouble knowing where to park, how to find our seats, where the nearest toilet is etc. That is what event marshals & stewards are for! They play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of events.
Event marshals & stewards complete a variety of essential duties, such as:
- Car park assistance (directing drivers to parking spaces and checking parking tickets/permits)
- Checking event tickets
- Directing the public around the event venue, to entry/exit points, and to their seats
- Ushering VIP event attendees around the venue
- Handing out water and refreshments (this is common at the front barricade of concerts when concert-goers may have been waiting for hours)
- Meet & greets
- Ushering event attendees out of the event quickly and quietly (to try and prevent sound complaints from neighbours)
- Acting as a general point of contact for members of the public at the event
