The NEC Group, in Birmingham, includes the NEC exhibition centre , ICC Birmingham, Utilita Arena Birmingham, the Vox, and BP Pulse Live arena. Together they are one of the UK’s top locations for concerts, exhibitions, meetings, and events. A stone’s throw away from Birmingham International Airport and Train Station, the NEC plays home to everything from wedding fares, gardening shows, to security conventions. What Do Our Hospitality Staff Do?
Since 2014 we have been directly supplying The NEC Group with hospitality and event staff. Our staff can be hired by the group to fulfil a variety of roles including reception duty, meet & greet, champagne service, host & hostess duties, and programme sales. Hospitality staff are often hired for entertainment events at the BP Pulse Live arena. Here they host VIP and guest lounges (private seating booths within the area with private bars), giving guests a personalised and memorable experiences.
What Other NEC Staff Do Push Provide?
Our NEC promotional staff are booked for various duties, such as:
- Sales Staff – to process payments and up-sell products and services. For example, food sales staff at The BBC Good Food Show, or homeware sales staff at The Autumn Fair
- Brand Ambassadors – to raise brand awareness and promote your products or services to event guests
- Hosts & Hostesses – to host exhibition stands, VIP lounges, Q&As, and general events
- Promotional Models – for example, to promote motorcycles at Motorcycle Live, or cars at the Commercial Vehicle Show
- Fashion Models – for example, modelling clothing at MODA or sportswear at Bodypower
- Model Dressers – to dress models for catwalks, photoshoots etc. For example, to dress models in bridal wear at the National Wedding Show
- Sampling Staff – to distribute product samples. For example, food and drink samples at the BBC Good Food Show
- Product Demonstrators – to carry our product demonstrations to event crowds, explaining how to use products, the benefits of them, and answering questions. For example, demonstrating cookery items at Grand Designs
- Registration Staff – to check in and register delegates at exhibitions and conferences at the NEC. We work with organisers, exhibitors and the NEC directly
- Here To Help Staff – to assist organisers with exhibition set-up, and to help event attendees’ with general support and assistance
- Magazine Subscription Sales Staff – to sell magazine or newspaper subscriptions
- Costume Character Staff / Mascots And Chaperones – to promote brands in costume at NEC events. Chaperones assist the mascot to dress and directs them safety around the venue.
