GREAT RUN BRAND AMBASSADORS
We have been working directly with the Great Run and their partners for over 10 years. We provide a team of staff to each event which include brand ambassadors, product sampling staff, mascots and chaperones. The runs take place around the country every couple of months. We supply staff to the following: The Great North Run (Newcastle), The Great Birmingham Run, The Great Bristol Run, The Great Manchester Run, The Great Scottish Run (Glasgow) and The Great South Run (Portsmouth).
With thousands of staff on our books we can often provide local staff to each event. This saves our customers money on staff transport and accommodation costs.
Each Great Run involves a number of individual races such as a family Run, 10K and half marathon, which all take place around the host city. There are also fun games and competitions to enjoy along the way!
WHAT OUR BRAND AMBASSADORS DO?
AJ Bell is a financial services company and sponsor each ‘Great Run’. Their mascot is a Bell (formerly a musical pig) and therefore our character costume staff get suited and booted, entertain the crowd and take lots of photos as the fun-filled mascot. Mascot chaperones also work alongside the mascot to help them dress, direct them around the area, and offer general assistance.
Our mascots always get really stuck in- taking photos, attracting attention, dancing, and interacting with the crowd.
Our Great Run brand ambassadors hand out free branded items such as buffs (headbands), caps and bells to participants and spectators. They ensure that the product samples are distributed throughout the day so that each new wave of participants and spectators feels the AJ Bell love. It’s important to make sure the public don’t get too carried away and grab multiple freebies.
Additionally, we also provide event managers to oversee our teams of staff. They ensure that all jobs are completed to our high standards. They also act as a seamless point of communication between event organisers and staff on the ground.
Staff enthusiastically cheer on all of the runners and always have a great time in the Great Run atmosphere. Enthusiasm is contagious so our staff are a great way to keep the crowd pumped up on often long, grey, and rainy days. We have a wonderful time working at The Great Runs throughout the year!
