SAUCE SAMPLING STAFF
Push Promotions worked alongside LEON’s marketing team to execute a successful guerrilla street marketing campaign to promote their new Aioli sauce. LEON approached us directly after hearing positive word of mouth from other companies we had previously worked with.
Over a week, we supplied a team of staff to create buzz for their Aioli sauce in various locations around London. For example Kings Cross Train Station, Bankside, and Clapham Common.
WHAT DID OUR SAUCE SAMPLING STAFF DO?
Some of our staff worked as product sampling staff. They had usherette trays of free samples which they used to engage with potential customers, and raise brand awareness for LEON and their new sauce. Staff who offer samples have to be aware of all ingredients to prevent allergies. They need to know how to store, transfer, and present samples so they are in tip top condition for the public. Sampling can have a huge impact on product recognisability and ultimately- sales. We have staff available with Level 2 Food Hygiene Certification.
Another member of Push Promotions’ staff promoted the sauce by dressing up as a near-6-ft tall living jar of Aioli sauce. What a way to grab public attention! Due to the size of the costume, the staff member had to be a specific height- 5ft7-5ft9- something Push Promotions ensured before the event. We were also sure to supply a mascot chaperone for the event who worked alongside our costumed member of staff. They helped ensure that the sauce did not trip in their costume when moving from location to location.
As it was a guerrilla marketing campaign, we made sure our staff were highly trained and experienced to easily diffuse any potential queries, and able to change locations quickly.
Our ambassadors made the public interact with the LEON brand outside of their actual restaurants, and the living jar was a fun, memorable, and unusual sight to attract attention. It was therefore a successful campaign!
