ARTS & CRAFTS STAFF

We provided arts & crafts staff to Hobbycraft for their Mother’s Day events. These took place in multiple Hobbycraft stores around the UK from large stand-alone stores to smaller stores within shopping centres. Founded back in 1995, the brand now has over 100 stores. They sell all-things crafty, for example knitting needles and wool, stamps, scrapbooking equipment, and all kinds of paint.

Our staff members were in charge of hosting/running a small arts & crafts table. Here children were offered the chance to paint a picture of their mother or guardian for Mother’s Day. Duties included greeting the children and parents, encouraging participation, setting up and wiping down the table, refilling paint supplies, giving out sweets/treats, and ensuring that only 6 children took part at any given time. There was therefore a lot for our staff to organise.

However, this became increasingly difficult when crowds of children swarmed the stores, begging to get involved. We supplied staff who have prior experience working with children. They therefore knew how to interact with them, keeping them enjoying themselves whilst still maintaining safety and a sense of organisation/order.

Push Promotions staff enthusiastically engaged with both parents and children. Helping them to celebrate Mothers Day and create a sentimental and personal gift. I’m sure many fridges and cupboard doors were adorned with these handmade keepsakes.

Finally, all staff thoroughly enjoyed taking part in these events, and managed to avoid getting covered in too much paint in the process!
