We have worked on countless London promotional campaigns over the years, from relatively straightforward leafleting and product sampling, to immersive and interactive escape rooms and competitions. London is the UK’s capital and most bustling city. In one sense this makes it perfect for promotional activity. It is busy so therefore more eyes on your brand. But on the other hand, it’s so busy that it can be hard to stand out. With dozens, if not hundreds of brands at any given time running events and campaigns, you really need a USP to grab attention.
One way to truly make meaningful interactions with the public is through hiring the right staff. Staff who engage positively, enthusiastically, and effectively with potential customers. Putting faces to a brand will humanise it, and allow the public to make genuine connections with your business. This is where Push Promotions comes in.
We have over 3000 staff on our books with the skills, knowledge and experience required to make London promotion a success. Importantly, this 3000 includes over 500 based in/around London.

Innocent Drinks:
Sketch Events booked Push Promotions to supply staff to Innocent Drinks for their Trafalgar Square Rewilding Event in April 2022. We provided 4 brand ambassadors and 1 event manager to work at the London event.
There was so much going on throughout the 1-day event. It was based around a large scale installation that transformed Trafalgar Square from its usual grey concrete display, into a wild meadow brimming with over 6,000 trees, plants and flowers. Our brand ambassadors’ roles were to bring the installation to life and educate the public on the importance of rewilding and Innocent’s eco-initiatives. For example, their commitment to protecting 2 million hectares of land and becoming carbon neutral by 2025.
Our ambassadors also handed out 10,000 branded innocent seed papers to members of the public so that they could continue their re-wilding journey at home. Each paper contained approximately 150-300 wildflower seeds, as well as instructions on how to plant the seeds/paper and information about the Big Re-wild.
Moreover, 2 brand ambassadors were responsible for distributing free samples of Innocent orange juice. This was 100% carbon neutral! Branded recycling bins were available to ensure that the sample bottles were disposed of appropriately. 500 plants were also given away to the public so they could re-wild their own gardens.
Duracell Optimum:
We have worked with Duracell for several years. We provide staff for promotional events nationwide at various venues including festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, and in-store promotional events.
In 2021, we supplied staff for the Duracell Optimum campaign in Manchester, Newcastle and London. The London event took place along the bank of the Thames. We provided a team of staff which included an event manager, brand ambassadors, a mascot, and a mascot chaperone. All of our staff were fully briefed prior to the event, which included extensive video training.
The promotional event aimed to demonstrate the power of their new Duracell Optimum batteries through a fun, interactive experience. Members of the public were encouraged by our brand ambassadors and Duracell ‘Bunny’ mascot, to have a 180-degree image taken of them, whilst holding a larger-than-life Duracell battery that would make their hair stand on end! If they shared this image on social media alongside the campaign hashtag #OPTIMUMPOWER they would be given a free Duracell goody bag.
Fait Maison:
We supply London restaurant hosts and hostesses to work at various restaurants and cafes around the capital. We recently provided such hostesses to work at the opening of the newest Fait Maison restaurant in Mayfair, London. Our staff were left to complete various duties throughout the day, including:
- Hostesses were responsible for greeting and ushering in a series of bloggers and vloggers, and helping them engage in activation. The activation involved finding their own specific ‘mystery box’, of which they had been sent a special key to unlock it before the event.
- They greeted and personally welcomed VIP guests
The image of the brand and restaurant is of paramount important, so we made sure to supply our finest hosts and hostesses. They were handpicked especially for such an event. Our restaurant hostesses know the high standards that are expected of them and they fully delivered! They were also provided with dresses to wear by the restaurant.
Store and restaurant openings always have an infectious enthusiastic energy, and so we love working at them to help ensure a successful launch!
Netflix:
We provided a team of Kings Cross promotional staff to work for a week at London’s King’s Cross station. Our staff were there promoting the Netflix film, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery! The film has received critical acclaim and stars Hollywood A-listers such as Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson, and Edward Norton!
It was an interactive and engaging promotional campaign on a large platform outside of Kings Cross station. The public was encouraged to have a go at completing a puzzle box! Which, if solved within 3 minutes, would see them rewarded with a token redeemable at a themed Glass Onion bar for a bespoke murder mystery cracker game! Moreover, staff were supplied with quotes and facts from the film to use when engaging with the public, making it an immersive experience.
We also worked with the company to promote the latest season of YOU- starring Penn Badgley.
The new season was set in London, and this interactive and engaging promotional interaction focused on a British staple- tea! Our staff oversaw a ‘bloody’ version of the classic teacups fairground ride, reflecting the murder mystery nature of YOU’s latest season. They also encouraged the public to take a complimentary hot ‘bloody tea’ (berry herbal). Additionally, passers-by were offered branded teabag pouches to take home and enjoy whilst watching the show.
Fully embracing the show, our promo staff reflected the language of Joe Goldburg whenever possible. They used his most iconic lines to entice the public to engage with the activation.
Disney Store:
Push was thrilled to once again work with Disney at their flagship Oxford Street store. Our staff helped to put on a weekend-long ‘Pixar Party’, creating buzz (see what we did there) and excitement around the store’s new Pixar products.
As well as new products, Disney fans could enjoy the ‘Make Your Own Forky’ craft table, a competitive Scalextric track, an Up-themed scavenger hunt, take photos at the iconic Pizza Planet Truck (from Toy Story) and more! Our staff oversaw it all and ensured that everyone had the best time. The magic of Disney was out in full force!
As you can see, our staff have a wide range of experience and skills. They can turn their hand to anything, and even without related prior knowledge, they will research and adapt their skill set to your event.
