CHILDREN’S HEALTH CAMPAIGN STAFF
We were hired, through Sketch Events, to provide staff to a children’s health campaign at London Bridge. This was organised by Yoplait, the makers of Petit Filous.
We all know that yogurts, packed full of calcium, vitamin D, and protein, are essential for children’s growth and development. However, an increasing proportion of children’s daily energy is now being replaced by nutrient poor, ultra processed foods (think biscuits, cakes, fizzy drinks etc). This is because of our increasingly busy lives, and of course the rising costs of food.
So this is where Yoplait, and we, come in-
Yoplait has updated the classic tale of Humpty Dumpty. They have repurposed his famous fragility into a reminder of the new reality of children’s increasing bone fragility. With a large-than-life Humpty Dumpty sculpture at the foot of London Bridge, it is a message impossible to ignore.
The goal of the campaign was therefore to raise awareness of the importance of a nutrient filled diet, and the vital role that yoghurt, in particular, can play.
WHAT DID OUR CHILDREN’S HEALTH CAMPAIGN STAFF DO?
- Represented the Yoplait brand at the event- maintaining their joyful and enthusiastic brand tone.
- Explained the stunt to the public and communicated at least one key message with each person interacted with.
- Assisted the public with photos/videos and encouraged them to post them online with the hashtags #YoplaitMission and #FixTheFall.
- Ensured the campaign area was kept clean and tidy.
- Very importantly- ensured that members of the public did not touch the Humpty Dumpty sculpture or sat on the wall.
Moreover, McFly star and children’s author Tom Fletcher was in attendance as the face of the campaign. So our staff also made sure that he was left in peace whilst capturing the required media and social media content for the campaign.
It was a great day for an important cause, and definitely caught people’s attention.
