EMERGENCY FIX CAMPAIGN STAFF
Push Promotions provided emergency fix campaign staff to work on Direct Line’s #DirectFix campaign. The aim of the campaign was to to position the insurance company as life’s ‘fixer’. The 8 week-long campaign attempted to fix people’s little emergencies. Therefore making Direct Line appear as a helpful and friendly company.
Direct Line monitored social media, scouring the internet for people who were having an everyday emergency. They then responded in the form of a physical fix. For example, an office worker tweeted that they had forgotten to apply mascara that morning. A few tweets back and forth, and a couple hours of logistics later, we appeared at their office with an ‘Everyday Fix Box’. This contained mascara, eye makeup remover, and a set of eyelash curlers. Emergency solved!
Our promotional staff were deployed to assist the campaign by traveling around in Direct Line branded vehicles wearing red jumpsuits. Once informed of an emergency, they would purchase relevant items for the ‘Everyday Fix Box’ and then deliver it to the recipient.
This campaign was personal, utilised social media, and brought joy to an ordinary day, as well as improving Direct Line’s public image. For staff it was a fun and engaging campaign to be a part of. All staff had to be organised and enthusiastic to ensure the campaign was smooth and a success!
All of our staff underwent a rigorous interview before being hired and received a thorough brief and training before their campaign shifts.
