IN-STORE HOLIDAY PROMOTIONAL STAFF
Virgin Holidays (now Virgin Atlantic) is a company that offers flights and holiday packages to destinations around the world. In early 2020 we were approached directly by Virgin Holidays to supply in-store holiday promotional staff to work alongside their permanent staff. We provided up to 100+ members of staff every weekend to work in stores around the UK.
WHAT DO OUR IN-STORE HOLIDAY PROMOTIONAL STAFF DO?
Our highly skilled and experienced promo staff have several duties whilst on shift, such as:
- Distributing promotional leaflets & brochures
- Putting together and handing out goody bag
- Encouraging the public to enter the stores
- Assisting retail staff
All of our staff are carefully selected to ensure that they fit the brand. They are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the latest holiday deals and destinations. Moreover, as we worked across 50+ stores, we were able to draw across our large nation-wide database. This therefore saved our customer money on staff travel and accommodation costs.
Hiring our staff to work alongside your permanent team of staff has lots of advantages. For example, you can only hire extra staff when and where you need them. Rather than wasting money hiring unnecessary permanent staff. It frees up your permanent staff to complete their essential duties, meaning extra jobs can be done by temporary staff.
Additionally, in travel agents, it can take a while for people to decide upon a holiday and actually arrange the details. Our temporary staff are therefore great to keep people chatting whilst they wait, and narrow down their holiday options. Then Virgin’s permanent trained staff can take them away to actually get it booked.
