Following on from Push Promotions’ previous article ‘Tips & Tricks For Shopping Centre Promotional Events’, this article will outline some previous events at shopping centres that we have supplied staff for. Push Promotions have supplied staff to complete hundreds of shifts at shopping centre promotional events or campaigns, since our inception in 2012.
We have supplied a variety of staff for shopping centre campaigns. From leafleting staff and brand ambassadors to mascots and product sampling staff, we have highly skilled and experienced staff in all industry sectors. We can provide staff to shopping centres directly, or to individual businesses. For example, high street chain stores, coffee shops, and designer outlets.
Here are some our shopping centre promotional event examples:
Staples
We helped office retail supplier, Staples, celebrate and promote their 25th anniversary over a weekend at the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham. Our brand ambassadors represented Staples in branded t-shirts, giving out 500 scratchcards a day, and encouraging the public to enter an online competition to win a new Nissan Juke. Our Push Promotions staff were responsible for managing scratchcard prizes and explaining the Nissan Juke competition.
There was also a Nissan Juke car parked near the promotional event, attracting public attention. There was a big social media push over the weekend! Staples asked us to continually ask the public to take photos with their Instagram frame and create as many social media posts and shares as possible with the hashtag #StaplesUK25thAnniversary. Our staff was also responsible for recording and posting videos to Staples’s social media accounts.
Sony Pictures
Since 2016 Push Promotions have worked with the world-famous Sony Pictures’ to supply staff for a number of their launch events. These events have taken place nationwide in various locations such as shopping centres and exhibitions.
We have successfully supplied enthusiastic staff members to create buzz and interact with the public to get them excited about the new Sony Pictures films! These included promo staff such as event managers, costume character staff, chaperones, and leafleting staff.
Ministry Of Sound
Push Promotions provided our best brand ambassadors to Ministry of Sound in London’s Boxpark to support their 30th anniversary celebrations! Our staff were required for 10 days of celebrations where they engaged with the public from a stall. From here they promoted all that Ministry has to offer and sold their new dance-music album and other merchandise.
Our ambassadors were fully briefed beforehand so they were able to create positive brand awareness and tackle any inquiries. Staff were responsible for setting up and running the stall every day, as well as ensuring crowd control.
Liverpool ONE
Moreover, Push Promotions provided promo staff to Liverpool ONE, a shopping, residential, and leisure complex located in Liverpool city centre. The event took place during university freshers week. Staff was tasked with holding a large sign outside the Freshers’ Fair, directing them towards Liverpool ONE. Here, several of their stores were holding relevant student events.
Our staff were also provided with an entertainment programme and map, and links to the Liverpool ONE website and MyONE app. They used these to answer questions from any passing students and encourage them to visit the complex. As our staff members were standing outside during the day, they were advised to dress for the cold weather. Staff were also supplied with Liverpool ONE hoodies.
The Octagon
Furthermore, our skilled brand ambassadors worked at The Octagon shopping centre in Burton-Upon-Trent. Here our staff ran the centre’s ‘Golden Ticket Giveaway’ competition. Our staff were fully briefed on the competition rules and were enthusiastic and engaging to encourage public participation.
