It seems like every time you turn the news on, or open up a social media app, that a new must-have piece of technology is being announced. So how can businesses and products stand out in such a saturated market? A great launch event of course.
Informative, memorable, personable. Just 3 things that a technology launch events needs to be. Here at Push Promotions, we’ve been supplying promotional staff to technology launch events for years. Our staff will ensure that your event is a roaring success, with your product in the forefront of people’s minds.
Don’t believe us? Here are some technology-based events that we have previously worked on:
Samsung Galaxy Tablets
We helped Samsung put an end to the classic ‘Are We There Yet?’ road trip complaints, by promoting their newest Galaxy Tab S10 FE & FE+ at Rugby service station.
The road trip rescue wall consisted of a station made of tablets. Here families could bust their boredom by getting creative & trying out the tablet.
There were Samsung product trainers onsite to help with the product and consumer interaction, and to answer all tech-related questions. Therefore, our role was simply to encourage participation, leaving the heavy-technical-lifting to the experts.
Samsung Galaxy Life Gym Events
A combination of technology and in-person fitness, we worked alongside the marketing agency Ketchum to provide healthcare pop-up ambassadors to Samsung’s Galaxy Life Gym events.
The pop-up was a gym experience made up of 4 zones, each targeting a different aspect of health. The event focused on endorphins and enjoying exercise, rather than calorie counting and personal bests. The 4 zones were:
Our ambassadors were predominantly stationed on the street outside the event, handing out informative leaflets and enticing the public to participate in the event! At times they were also required to work within the pop-up, assisting with the customer journey. Our staff were engaging and enthusiastic, ensuring that members of the public had a memorable experience and therefore that the event was a roaring success.
Despite all of these amazing creative and fun rooms, we ensured that Samsung remained at the forefront of the event. Therefore, we pushed brand awareness and the use of Samsung products throughout. We supplied staff to events in Manchester and London.
Pavegen
We spent a week manning a Bullring environmental stand in the middle of the iconic Birmingham shopping centre. We were working with Pavegen! Their technology converts the kinetic energy from footsteps into renewable energy.
The aim of the stand was to get the public involved in sustainability efforts by inviting them to actively participate in generating energy! People could get involved by either taking footsteps onto the Pavegen tiles or rolling a wheelchair over them.
The converted renewable energy from the public was used to power several activation’s, such as:
- Green Wall- footsteps power the irrigation system of the green wall to keep plants healthy.
- Walk to Light- the energy created instantaneously lights up the tiles under your feet.
- Charity Game- Everteen had agreed to plant one tree for every 50 steps taken.
Our staff members were all enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the brand. They educated the public on the environmental importance of the brand whilst also maintaining the fun of the activation. Not an easy balance to strike.
This is a vitally important and exciting new brand. As well as educating the public, we learnt more ourselves, and thoroughly enjoyed our collaboration.
Apex Rides
Apex Rides was, at the time, a new British smart bike, app, and community, who aimed to create affordable and feed-good fitness! They sell premium-quality bikes at competitive prices, and access to carefully curated online cycling classes via the Apex app.
A pop-up store allowed the new brand to create a foothold in the bustling London market, without committing to a full-time location. Even if the public didn’t enter the store, at this location their brand was going to be seen by thousands of locals, commuters and tourists.
Push Promotions supplied full-time Covent Garden pop-up staff to work for Apex Rides. The pop-up was open for approximately 12 months, throughout which we provided daily staff who worked in the store unsupervised.
Essentially our staff ran the store from start to finish, top to bottom, introducing the brand to the British public.
Philips
Philips is a household name, working in the healthcare technology industry. Their brand is based around the belief that ‘there is always a way to make life better’. We supply healthcare product demonstrators and event managers to represent Philips at exhibitions around the UK.
All of our staff attend a full training day prior to the events. Here they learnt about the promoted products, target audience, and how to answer FAQs from the public. All of our demonstrators are able to explain the benefits of a product, how to use it, and the impact it can have on your life. With healthcare products, it is especially vital that staff know the ins and outs of relevant products.
Our product demonstrators engage with hundreds of members of the public, raising product and brand awareness. Studies have shown that product demonstration, or ‘trying before you buy’, significantly increases the chance of making a sale, and converting the public into customers. Staff were friendly and approachable, ensuring that even if a sale wasn’t made, the interaction created positive brand association.
We could keep going, but we always want to leave you wanting more! As you can see, our staff can do it all. From supporting technical experts, to being the tech wizards themselves, our staff have a wide range of skills to help promote your brand, products, and services.
