After wrapping up for winter, the public looks forward to spring dawning; the days get longer, and we shed our hats, gloves and scarves. Easter is a time for going outside, trying new things and exploring new places! Easter and spring are therefore perfect times for hosting promotional campaigns & events. People are looking for something new, and your brand, products and services can be just that!
Push Promotions has a network of 2000+ staff members who can work as Easter promotional staff & brand ambassadors. We have staff with experience in nearly every industry sector e.g. gaming, healthcare, and cosmetics. We also have trained baristas, mixologists and bartenders. Our staff have worked across the UK on campaigns with some of the world’s biggest brands such as Netflix, Sainsbury’s, and Secret Cinema. They work at exhibitions, pop-up stores, train stations, trade fairs, conferences and more. No matter where you require Easter promotional staff, we can deliver!
Easter Promotional Campaigns & Events
So how can you incorporate Easter into your brand promotion?
First things first, what do you associate with Easter? Chocolate, bunnies, yellow, hats, eggs, lent, Jesus… The list goes on. Although the holiday was originally founded in Christianity, in recent years it has become an increasingly mainstream and secular celebration. Popular Easter events include egg hunts, visits from the Easter Bunny, and chocolate tasting. Seemingly non-Easter-related promotional tools can also be adapted for the holiday season. For example, competitions, samples, discount vouchers, and games, can all be Easter-fied and used to capitalise upon the spring holiday.

Our Easter Promotional Staff
1. Easter Product Sampling Staff
Food and drink is a huge part of Easter. Chocolate is nearly synonymous with the holiday, with Easter eggs given as gifts to friends and family members. People’s heads are therefore full of chocolate and other sweet treats around the Easter holiday. It is therefore a great time to host a product sampling event. We have previously supplied Easter product sampling staff to Mozart Chocolate Liqueur:
Our product sampling staff worked at various department stores around the UK such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. Mozart is an Australian brand which combines the worlds of chocolate with alcoholic spirits. Easter is therefore the perfect time to promote the brand- whereas children enjoy a chocolate egg, adults can enjoy a chocolate liqueur.
Our staff distributed samples of Mozart’s chocolate liqueur to shoppers and were prepared to answer any related questions from the public. They had been provided with the Mozart Brand Book before their shifts to prepare. Being an alcohol sampling event, our staff had extra guidelines to follow.
Additionally, staff took note of the most popular products, sampler demographics, and number of samples consumed. This meant that Mozart could use this information for further brand promotion and marketing.
Moreover, the public often gives something up for Lent- the 40 days preceding Easter- e.g. chocolate, booze, crisps, smoking etc. People can also give up a behaviour. Easter can therefore be a good time to get people to try new products as they seek to distract themselves from what they’ve given up for Lent. Product sampling is a great way to get people to try your product without the pressure of making a purchase. Hiring charismatic and approachable product sampling staff will help the public to further recognise your brand as positive and memorable.
2. Easter Character Costume Staff
The Easter bunny is a mythical character and a popular symbol associated with the Easter holiday, especially in Western cultures. Unlike the religious significance of Easter tied to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Easter bunny is a secular and folkloric figure linked to the celebration’s more playful and festive aspects. The Easter bunny is often depicted as a rabbit or hare, carrying a basket filled with coloured eggs, candies, and sometimes toys.
Having character costume staff, otherwise known as mascot staff, to dress as the Easter bunny is, therefore, a great Easter promotional tool! The Easter bunny is a beloved joyful figure, and so will attract public attention. We always recommend hiring a mascot chaperone to work alongside the mascot. The chaperone helps the mascot to get changed into their often large and cumbersome outfits, leads them around the event venue/location, manages crowd control, and often takes photos of the public with the mascot.
But how can you use a mascot to promote your brand? Consider having brand ambassadors by your mascot to initiate brand-related conversations with the public. You could have your mascot hand out brand-related leaflets or coupons. Or have your mascot positioned in front of a backdrop with your brand logo. The opportunities are endless.
Although not the Easter bunny, Push has previously provided character costume staff to work with Duracell as their bunny mascot. We have worked with them at a variety of events such as festivals, runs, exhibitions, in-store promotional events, and high-street promotional events. The bunny mascot was used to entice the public over to Duracell interactions and experiences. Click here to read more.
3. Easter Egg Hunt Staff
Easter egg hunts are treasure hunts where the public, often children, search for hidden decorated eggs. Often the eggs are made of plastic and filled with chocolate, sweets or little plastic toys. The game is often played outdoors, with eggs collected in a basket, and further prizes awards e.g. most eggs collected, largest egg collected etc. Easter egg hunts are becoming more and more popular in the UK, and so a business hosting an Easter egg hunt is a great promotional tool.
Push Promotions can provide engaging, experienced, and enthusiastic promotional staff to work at Easter egg hunts. Here they can help the hunt run smoothly, as well as promote your company at the same time.
We have previously supplied staff to work at Halloween pumpkin-picking events! Our staff can be hired for all public holidays and celebrations. We love embracing the infectious fun atmosphere of these events!
4. Easter Run & Parade Staff
Many towns and cities host runs and marathons around Easter to encourage people to get some exercise and out of the house in spring. Runs are complicated events where thorough planning and experienced staff are required.
Moreover, parades are also common around the Easter period. Just think of the classic Fred Astaire and Judy Garland’s ‘Easter Parade’ 1948 movie! Again, parades require lots of planning and skilled staff to ensure their success and safety. They are often attended by upwards of thousands of people.
As well as the organising company, runs and parades are a great place to promote smaller companies too! Consider sponsoring the event, having your own parade float, setting up a water station, or having your mascot cheer the runners while they run. There are many ways to get your brand seen and heard at these events.
Push has experience working at runs and parades around the UK.
Run Experience
For example, we provided a full team of staff to each of the AJ Bell Great Runs in 2023. We supplied brand ambassadors, product sampling staff, mascots and chaperones. Our mascots always got truly stuck in- taking photos, attracting attention, dancing, and interacting with the crowd. Our Great Run brand ambassadors handed out free branded items such as buffs (headbands), caps and bells to participants and spectators. They ensured that the product samples are distributed throughout the day so each new wave of participants and spectators feels the AJ Bell love. Additionally, we also provided event managers to oversee our teams of staff.
Parade Experience
Moreover, we also have experience working at parades; we provided costume staff and brand ambassadors to work at the spectacular Nickelodeon parade to mark the start of Blackpool’s illuminations season. Our staff supported the parade dancers by being smiley, engaging, and generally looking like they were having the time of their lives! They also all had props with which they were encouraged to really go to town and add to the fun! After the parade, our staff were issued with a bundle of LED wristbands. They distributed these wristbands to the crowd attending the post-parade concert and light switch-on.
5. Easter Pop-Up Staff
Seasonal pop-up stores and becoming more common on the British high-street. There is no point in having a permanent Christmas, Halloween or Easter store. So instead shops ‘pop up’ for the holiday season and then close once demand has ceased. Easter pop-ups sell all sorts of Easter-related items. For example, chocolate eggs of course, but also Easter bonnets, floral arrangements, bunny toys, decorations, and egg hunt supplies.
Pop-up staff run a pop-up from start to finish- unlocking the store in the morning, stocking the shelves, accepting deliveries, making sales, interacting with customers, and locking up the store at the end of the day. Push has done all of this and more with various brands such as Apex and Lemonade Dolls. We have staff with years of retail experience ready to go!
