Within our 3000+ staff database we have hundreds of staff local to Birmingham. Therefore we can often save you money on staff transport and accommodation costs. This makes our already highly competitive pricing even better!
We have staff with knowledge and experience in nearly every industry sector, for example, gaming, cosmetics and automobiles. We also have staff with Level 2 Food Hygiene Certification, trained baristas and bartenders, and staff with performing arts experience. There is nothing our staff cannot do, from product demonstrations, promotional modelling, mascot work, and so much more. We can therefore create the perfect staffing package for you no matter what promotional activity you are carrying out.
Here is just a hint of some of the amazing work our staff have done at Birmingham promotional events:
Pavegen
We spent a week manning a Bullring environmental stand in the middle of the iconic Birmingham shopping centre. The Bullring is a great place to promote your brand as it receives thousands of daily visitors as well as workers- making it one of the busiest shopping centres in the country. Customers come not only to shop, but for food, a coffee, or simply a leisurely day out.
Pavegen’s technology converts the kinetic energy from footsteps into renewable energy. They therefore take something mundane and every day and give it value! Moreover, the company’s tiles have been installed over 250 times in 37 different countries.
The aim of the stand was to get the public involved in sustainability efforts by inviting them to actively participant in generating energy! People could get involved by either taking footsteps onto the Pavegen tiles or rolling a wheelchair over them.
The converted renewable energy from the public was used to power several activation’s, such as:
- Green Wall- footsteps power the irrigation system of the green wall to keep plants healthy.
- Walk to Light- the energy created instantaneously lights up the tiles under your feet.
- Charity Game- Everteen had agreed to plant one tree for every 50 steps taken.
All of these activations hoped to encourage a community-effort to create sustainable energy and support the planet.
Moreover, our staff members were enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the brand. They educated the public on the environmental importance of the brand whilst also maintaining the fun of the activation.
The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show
The Caravan, Camping And Motorhome Show is the UK’s biggest leisure vehicle show. We worked with the NCC, to provide pre-registration staff, registration staff and a mobile information team to the exhibition.
It takes place at Birmingham’s NEC. We have been supplying staff to the event for several years now, and frequently provide staff to work at this venue. The NEC is Europe’s largest exhibition space. Officially opened by Queen Elizabeth back in 1976, the venue has 18 exhibition halls, as well 32 conference suites, and outdoor spaces.
The exhibition showcases the latest in touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, caravan holiday homes, tents of all shapes and sizes. It also shows all of the accessories and gadgets you could possibly need for an outdoor getaway.
Pre-registration staff act as the first point of contact for the show’s 350+ exhibitors and make sure that their checking-in process is smooth and efficient. Our registration staff then oversee the arrival of the exhibition’s 100,000+ guests in a quick and friendly manner.
Moreover, the mobile information team is proactive and supportive to visitors who seek assistance and information during their time at the exhibition. They are easily visible with backpacks and large ‘info’ flags. The team is part of the onsite operations team, and needs to be warm, friendly, reliable and confident to reassure and assist visitors who may be overwhelmed by the crowd and size of the event.
Finally, all staff attend a briefing before the exhibition begins and do prior research on the event beforehand.
Secret Cinema
We provided 5 of our finest promotional models for a photoshoot in Birmingham City Centre. The photoshoot was for Secret Cinema and was photographed by Dave Nelson.
Secret Cinema brought its interactive and immersive storytelling experience to Birmingham for the first time in Summer 2023! Tell me more, tell me more! Birmingham’s NEC was transformed into the corridors of Rydell High for a unique showing of the nation’s favourite musical- Grease. Secret Cinema productions transport the audience to the world of the film, blurring the boundaries between performer and audience, and set and reality. The pink ladies and T-birds come to the Midlands!
Push’s promotional models wore American-style letterman jackets emblazoned with the word ‘BIRMINGHAM’. Signalling that the iconic 1978 American musical will be coming to the city. Some photos even included the classic Pink Ladies convertible!
The photoshoot took place around the city centre in well-known spots. For example, the rainbow steps at Grand Central Train Station, by the Bullring Bull, Centenary Square, and Birmingham Town Hall. It truly showed Birmingham at its very best!
Additionally, our models can work at events and photoshoots all around the UK. They often work at events such as product launches and motor shows. Model headshots are also available upon request.
Benefit Cosmetics
To celebrate their ‘Home for the Holidays’ competition, Benefit Cosmetics toured the UK in their Barbie-esque pink motorhome to promote their products and encourage competition entries. Push Promotions supplied 1 highly experienced ambassador to work with Benefit during the Birmingham stop of their motorhome’s UK tour!
As they were working alone, we ensured our brand ambassador was confident, engaging, and a perfect fit for Benefit Cosmetics! They received a full brief and training via an online webinar prior to the event, as well as a pink Benefit varsity jacket to fully represent the brand.
The event took place in the car park of the University of Birmingham’s Guild of Students, where there is a large footfall of the campaign’s target audience- young, tech-friendly make-up wearers. Birmingham is a very student-heavy city, with a whopping 5 different universities! If your business targets students or young people, it is therefore a great place to promote.
Our ambassador had several roles on the day- to encourage students to scan the QR code on the side of the motorhome to enter Benefit’s ‘Home for the Holidays’ competition, to give out incentive cards which promoted the competition and Benefit’s new delivery and bookable brow service, and manage the queue and capacity of the vehicle.
Benefit Cosmetics and Push Promotions carried out a successful promotional campaign during this cold November day, interacting with over 500 students- raising brand awareness and customer engagement.
The List Could Go On…
The list could well and truly go on and on, however we won’t bore you! We feel like these promotional events cover the key Birmingham locations, as well as showing the wide range of work that we can do.
