Here to help staff refer to employees who are specifically designated to provide assistance, support, and guidance to customers and event guests. These staff members are often focused on ensuring positive customer experiences, resolving issues, and answering questions. They support the smooth-running of events in various ways, for example:
1. Directing guests around the venue; this may be in the car park to find a parking space, directing guests to the current entry door, to their specific seats, to refreshments or to the bathroom.
2. Handing out relevant information, e.g. maps of the venue, timings of the event, goody bags, event wristbands, vouchers/tokens, pens, and more.
3. Answering general questions and queries. Staff are trained up with relevant knowledge before the event.
4. Chaperoning/accompanying guests (VIP or otherwise) around the venue and hosting VIP lounges.
5. Checking/scanning tickets at entrances and check-points.
