NEWCASTLE WATER STATION STAFF
We provided a large team of brand ambassadors to work for Aqua Pura at the Great North Run in Newcastle. The run sees over 60,000 people complete the 13.1 miles (21km) half marathon, with thousands more attending as spectators, and raises millions for charity!
Aqua Pura is a water brand that, as the name suggests, sells ‘pure water’. It is officially recognised as 100% Natural Mineral Water and is sourced next to a Special Area of Conservation in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside. It is also the fastest-growing British natural mineral water brand in the UK.
WHAT DO OUR WATER STATION STAFF DO?
Some of our brand ambassadors work at water stations along the run route. They worked alongside large teams of volunteers and the water station leaders. Our staff ran the station from start to finish by loading the tables to handing out water runners. Water station staff acted as cheerleaders for the runners, encouraging them to ‘embrace the adventure’.
Moreover, our staff were given several brand-related phrases to communicate to the public throughout the day. E.g. ‘Stay refreshed with Aqua Pura’, ‘Hydrate with Aqua Pura’ and ‘Embrace the adventure’. It was vital that our staff ensured that the Aqua Pura brand remained at the forefront and that all runners left the water station with a positive brand experience.
Finally, once all the runners had passed, water station staff helped to tidy and pack up the station.
Additionally, the remaining brand ambassadors worked at the finish line, cheering on the runners and promoting the water brand to the public.
We were also provided with branded t-shirts, hoodies and caps to wear throughout the day-long event.
It was a fabulous day that Push was thrilled to be a part of. Our brand ambassadors worked hard throughout the day to successfully ensures that runners and spectators left with a positive impression of Aqua Pura.
We have also worked at other Great Run events directly with the events sponsors (AJ Bell) and other companies. E.g. The Great Birmingham Run, The Great Bristol Run, and The Great Manchester Run.
