The UK hosts several major comic-con conventions that celebrate comics, film, TV, gaming, anime, and pop culture. We can provide Comic-Con staff to such events across the UK- for example, registration staff, ‘Here-To-Help’ staff, exhibition booth staff, and more.

Here are some of the biggest and most notable Comic-Cons:

MCM Comic Con (London, Birmingham, Manchester, and more)

Organised by ReedPop, MCM Comic Con is the UK’s largest pop culture convention series. The flagship event is held twice a year at ExCeL London, typically in May and October, attracting over 130,000 attendees. Other major events include MCM Birmingham and MCM Manchester, which also draw large crowds. These conventions feature celebrity guests, cosplay competitions, gaming tournaments, and a wide range of exhibitors.

Thought Bubble Festival (Harrogate, Yorkshire)

Thought Bubble is the UK’s largest comics-focused convention, taking place annually in November. It spans a week across Yorkshire, culminating in a two-day convention in Harrogate. The festival is renowned for its celebration of comic art and storytelling, featuring a diverse line-up of creators, publishers, and artists.

Comic Con Liverpool

Held twice a year at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, this convention attracts over 48,000 attendees per event. It offers a mix of film, TV, gaming, anime, cosplay, and comic books, with celebrity guests, cosplay competitions, and a wide array of exhibitors. For example, this year it has Keith Lemon, stars of the Office USA, James McAvoy and Hayden Christensen as guests! What an array!

The same company also hosts the following, which follow the same format:

London Film & Comic Con (LFCC)

Organised by Showmasters, LFCC is one of the UK’s largest conventions, typically held at Olympia London. It features a wide range of celebrity guests, panels, cosplay competitions, and a large exhibition hall. The event attracts tens of thousands of fans each year.

Love Of Fantasy (London)

Still a relatively new con, Love of Fantasy is quickly growing in size and impact. As the name suggests, this event focuses on the fantasy genre; think vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural favourites. This event takes place at the ExCel London and attracts some big stars. This event attracts more of a female audience than some of the other cons.

There are hundreds of smaller cons, all tailored to a particular niche or area of pop culture. There truly is something for everyone. Whether you spend the day shopping for rare collective pieces, queuing to meet your favourite TV/film stars, or comparing costumes with new friends, no two con experiences are the same.

We have a staff database of over 3000 workers. They have a vast variety of knowledge and experience, as well being located across the entire UK. This means that no matter what staff are required for an event, we are near guaranteed to be able to provide. Supplying local staff can also save our bookers money on staff transport and accommodation fees.
