1. ExCel London

The Excel London opened in the year 2000 alongside London’s historic Royal Docks. Every year it hosts over 400 events, 40,000 exhibitors, and over 4 million visitors. ExCel’s events bring £4.5 billion to London, support 37,600 jobs, and receive a quarter of London’s business tourists! The surrounding Royal Docks area has great transport links, 6 hotels, 30+ bars, restaurants, and cafes, and a huge car park.

2. Olympia

The Olympia is an iconic London location that opened over 130 years ago on Boxing Day 1886. It is a huge exhibition space with 4 event venues and a conference hall. It also has its own London Underground station- vastly aiding its accessibility.

3. Business Design Centre

The Business Design Centre is in the heart of London, a mere 20-minute walk from King’s Cross station and even less from a tube station. Like the Olympia, the Business Design Centre has a long and rich history having opened in 1862. As well as exhibition and conference spaces, this venue also contains small serviced offices, large serviced offices, and showrooms.

4. Alexandra Palace

London’s Alexandra Palace, or the ‘ally pally’ as it is often nicknamed, is a cultural venue perhaps better known for its concerts, plays, sporting events and ice rink than its exhibitions. However, set within 196 acres of parkland, the Alexandra Palace does contain various rooms that can accommodate exhibitions, showcases and conferences.

5. The National Exhibition Centre (NEC)

Birmingham’s NEC has been voted the number one exhibition venue in the UK! The NEC has 20 interconnected halls which host around 750 events annually, these events can range from shows, conferences, exhibitions, and more. It is walking distance from Birmingham International Train Station and also has the Resorts World entertainment complex next door.

6. International Convention Centre (ICC)

Furthermore, The ICC, situated in the heart of Birmingham, incorporates Symphony Hall and its doors open onto Centenary Square and the local canals. The venue had the ability to host conferences, exhibitions, banquets, weddings and meetings of all sizes. It is also a venue partner of the aforementioned NEC.

7. Exhibition Centre Liverpool

Located on Liverpool’s world-famous docks, the Exhibition Centre Liverpool is accessible by road, rail, air, and even sea. A purpose-built state-of-the-art exhibition centre, the venue is a part of The ACC Liverpool Group alongside its interconnected sister venues ACC Liverpool and M&S Bank Arena.

8. EventCity Manchester

Moreover, EventCity is a conference, gala dinner, and exhibition venue in Greater Manchester, and is the second-largest exhibition space outside of London. A more modern venue, having opened in 2011, EventCity had a combined area of 28,000 square meters across 4 halls.

9. Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC)

The EICC, in Scotland’s capital, is a multi-story venue with facilities that include adaptable auditoria, break-out suites, and spacious exhibition and reception areas. Since its 1995 opening, the EICC has welcomed over 1.5 million delegates from more than 120 countries, and 66% of its clients are repeat customers.

10. International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales)

Finally, the International Convention Centre Wales is a 5000 capacity venue in Newport, South Wales. The venue has a main auditorium with fixed seating for 1,500 delegates, as well as an additional 6 exhibition halls, meeting rooms, and an abundance of breakout and networking spaces. The venue has also been used for the filming of a variety of dramas, live audience TV shows and advertisements.
